I’ve Known.

I’ve known men who live in deafening boldness, and those who thunder softly in their hearts.

I’ve known men who speak words fearlessly, and those whose voices speak in deeds.

I’ve known men who love immensely, and those who are immensely loved.

I’ve known men who hold their fists in anger, and those who hold their fists for peace.

I’ve known men who cry for change, and those who changed so they can cry.

I’ve known men who see complexity in the simple, and those who are simply complex.

I’ve known men who educate the ignorant, and those who ignorantly educate.

I’ve known the free and the confined; the content and the depressed; the honest and the deceitful.

But the more I meet, the less I need to know. The differences fuse to a blur.

A man is a man… Any man. The ones I’ve known, know, will know or will never know.

A man- nameless reflection of a billion parallel mirrors,  forming a billion unique faces.  All comes from one and the same.

Unity- To be apart, breaks us within.

The irony of the human experience.

Yours Truly,
